I was drowning in darkness the moment you came into my life.

It was when fear, doubt and worry was too much to take.

Please know that you were not undesirable.

I was just caught between a rock and a hard place. 

I’m sorry if I left you helpless and didn’t give you a chance to stay.

No matter what I do now, I couldn’t turn back the hands of time.

I have and still am filled with remorse up to this day and for the days to come.

I have taken everything as a lesson which I have learned the hard way.

This is a plea to be understood and forgiven. And my heart knows that you do.

When I look at the sky, I break into a smile.

Because I know that you are there shining down on me.

Thank you for being my guide home whenever I feel lost.
