All The Ways I Want To Kiss You

I will kiss your cheeks first.
That gentle patch of skin. The place where the blush creeps up from your neck and decorates your face a soft pink. I’ll kiss right there, tenderly, slowly, to bring you comfort and warmth.

Then I’ll kiss your forehead.
I’ll step on my tiptoes and lean forward, press my lips to each furrowed crease. I’ll kiss the worries from your mind and bring you closer to me, resting your head on my chest.

I’ll kiss your nose.
Because I love when you kiss me there, like something small and precious. I’ll kiss you there, so delicately you can hardly feel it. Then I’ll kiss you again, letting my lips tickle that tender spot until we both laugh.

I’ll kiss your temples.
The little divots where I know your mind is spinning. I will kiss away your headaches, your worries, your fears. I will kiss you into calm.

I’ll kiss your neck.
Low, right above your collarbone, sending shivers up and down your spine. I’ll kiss you slow and deep, pressing my lips into that gentle bone I love. I’ll grab your shoulders and kiss you fiercely, with every bit of my love.

I will kiss every piece of you.
Your hands and fingertips, the muscles in your shoulders, the ticklish spot in the center of your back. I will kiss you until you cannot bear it, until you pull me away and look into my eyes, tell me you love me over and over until both of us are dizzy.

I will kiss your mind.
With the way I listen. I will open my ears to anything you want to tell me, and I will speak every truth of mine into your head. I’ll kiss you with my thoughts, with my words. I will kiss our wandering minds together in love.

I’ll kiss your soul.
With my tenderness. I’ll pour my love to you in every way I can. I’ll kiss you when you’re happy or lonely, when you’re afraid or angry. I will kiss you physically, and spiritually until you cannot remember a life without my love or lips.

And then I will kiss your mouth.
The place I am meant to kiss. The place that speaks, that laughs, that shares every story, every smile, every ounce of emotion with me. I will kiss those lips as I never have before, lingering with every breath. I will kiss tenderly, passionately, fearlessly. I will kiss my heart onto that mouth. I will kiss myself to you.
