1. No matter how obscure or “out-there” a topic, we’re down to discuss it. Seriously, it’s literally impossible to turn us off. The more ethereal the topic, the more interested we become, too. Wanna discuss spirituality and consciousness? Immediate BFF status.
2. We’ll get straight to the heart of the matter. You’re not going to be able to dance around what you really feel with us. We will pull it out of you and then you will feel instantly lighter and more understood. You’re welcome.
3. We don’t just listen in order to wait for our time to speak. We truly listen with curiosity and enthusiasm. One of our pleasures is being able to connect with another soul. None of this surface-level conversations for us. We get deep.
4. We willingly give all of our wisdom and most of the time, we have no idea how we’re able to give you the advice we’re giving. It’s like the advice comes out of the sky and, honestly, we believe it does. Our wisdom is beyond our years and we will lay it on you any time you want.
5. Do you want us to read your tarot cards? Cool, we can read your tarot cards.
6. We are down to go on the best adventures with you. Want to go on a spontaneous road trip to go stare up at the stars and talk about the Universe? Okay!
7. If you’re going through something difficult, we will be there immediately with all the necessary provisions. We will happily come to aide you with a loving, kind heart and all the time in the world to help you through your crisis.
8. Don’t be surprised if we text you out of the blue and are like, “your energy just shifted, u ok?” It will be eerie and on point, but just go with it. We’re sensitive to your energy because we care.
9. We are down with solitude. We’re never going to guilt-trip you for not hanging out. Do your thing. We’ll hang when we hang (and when we do hang, we’ll share all our insights from the past however many days and it’ll be The Best).
10. We will never judge you. We are quick to understand your situation, instead of quick to condemn it. We’ll always encourage you to listen to yourself over anybody else, because we know well enough that you have all the answers inside of you any way.
11. We will always encourage you to do what your heart desires and will be the first in line to talk you through your next big idea. We’re the last person you should call if you want to be talked out of pursuing the passion that makes you come alive.
12. We can help you see the joy in simplicity. Sometimes life gets tricky and it can be difficult to appreciate what’s right in front of you. We’ll remind you to be grateful, because we know that happy people are happy with what they have.
13. We take our friendships seriously. We do not live in the disposable world of relationships. We know it’s an honor to be your friend and we will respect that. Honestly? We’re really great people to be friends with, like, not to brag or anything.
